Bridal Appointment FAQs

What sizes are your samples?

In our Camden Passage Store, we have samples in sizes between a UK 10 and 12 depending on shape of the gown.

In our Liverpool Road Store, we have samples in sizes between a UK 16 to 28 depending on shape of the gown.

No matter what dress size you are, we can pin, panel and clip the sample to fit you so you know how it feels when it is made to your size.

What kind of appointment should I book?

We are lucky to offer different types of appointment to suit a brides specific needs!
Liverpool Road Curve appointment: Book this type of appointment if you usually wear a high street size 16+ . We have a gorgeous selection of designer dresses in sample sizes varying from a size 16 – 28 and can pin in the dresses (if they are too big) and pin out the dresses (if they are a bit snug). Camden Passage appointment: Book this type of appointment if you usually wear a high street size 6 – 14. Our sample sizes here range from a size 10-12, and again can be pinned in or out. Click here to view our Camden Passage collection.

What is your price range?

In our Camden Passage Store, we offer made-to-order gowns from £1000 to £6000. Should you have a budget below this, we have over 60 styles of ready-to-buy Sample gowns you can purchase and can take away with you on the day. Please email us.
In our Liverpool Road Store, we offer made-to-order gowns from £1200 to £3500.

Will there be other appointments in-store?

Brides will have their own private level of the store for themselves, their guests, and one stylist. There may be another appointment on the other level.

Can I take photos?

We do not encourage photography however if it will help you to better decide upon the right dress we will allow photographs of your favourite dresses.

Can I bring a pram or young children?

If bringing a young child, please make sure there is someone to look after them so you can focus on finding your dream dress. Prams are allowed however please email/call before so we can allocate you the upstairs area.

Do I need to bring anything like shoes and special underwear?

We are not able to offer shoes to try with gowns. We encourage you to bring your own if that will help you to see the gowns properly.

Backless or Strapless bras are most helpful but not essential. Stick-on cups or low back basques are also useful to wear to ensure you are comfortable and could provide good support for your actual Wedding day. Also, it is helpful to bring pictures of gowns you have seen on blogs or websites, or you have tried on elsewhere.

Most importantly come with an open mind! It is quite usual for customers to find THE ONE during their first visit to Angelica Bridal!

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes, we offer 1-hour personal appointment to help discover and explore what works for you. Our experienced Bridal Stylists will be able to pick out gowns from our collections so the more information you share with us, the better we can understand your needs. We love the challenge of finding the perfect gown for our Brides, that is what drives us!

Will I be charged for an appointment?

Appointments are free between Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. For evenings and weekends, a fee of £40 will be charged. We operate a strict 72-hour cancellation policy to ensure we can offer the appointment to our waiting list. There is a charge of £40 for failure to cancel on time.

 

How many people can I bring?

Currently, we are allowing up to 3 guests per bride due to the boutique being quite intimate.

Can we come in early and browse before my appointment starts?

We kindly ask that you come as close to your appointment time as possible.

Can I just pop in and browse anytime?

At each appointment, we offer an in-depth personal styling and advice service, as well as helping brides to dress into the gowns. Therefore, by-appointment is paramount to ensure that all our brides are given full undivided attention.

What happens when my dress arrives?

You’ll be invited to a Try-on appointment via email – At this appointment you can try on your gown with accessories, check the gown, discuss tailoring and pay final balance. If you wish to pay the final balance via bank transfer, please do this ahead of the appointment as some banks do take a few days to process. We cannot let any items leave the boutique until they are fully paid for.

At the end of your try on appointment you can either take your gown home with you or alternatively use our “Store and Send” service for £60. This is where your gown will be stored with us and transported to our recommended tailor – Exclusive Alterations.

Alterations with them start a standard 6 weeks prior to your wedding. Please book in online or contact them to book your first fitting. Please note: this is a separate company and not affiliated with Angelica Bridal.

What is your refunds and returns policy?

As our gowns are made to order, we do not accept refunds after the deposit is made. Sample gown sales are final and non-refundable.
